Our goal is to take medical imaging to the next level and to create global access to it. At the same time we want to optimize the patients’ comfort, as well as applications’ efficiency. To accomplish this, we want to develop various systems.
The treatment focuses on optimal radiation dose management and a high scanning speed.

Each year 1.050.000 women all over the world are diagnosed with breast cancer. To help these women, it is of essential importance to diagnose the disease precisely and at an early stage. Hereby, the chances of healing can be increased and at the same time costs for necessary therapies can be reduced.
This is exactly where the dennec Breast-Tomosynthesis takes over.
Big Day in Erlangen!
Germany’s Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier came to Erlangen on 7.11.2023. We are honored by his dedicated interest in our technology and the opportunity to have him visit our labs. The founder of VEC Imaging, Dr. Houman Jafari, presented our fully functional breast tomosynthesis system demonstrator to the Federal President and his delegation, including the Bavarian State Minister for the Interior, Joachim Herrmann. Houman explained the disruption potential and versatile benefits of our nanotube-based multibeam X-ray (“NTMBX”) technology.
The NTMBX platform technology can truly revolutionize computer tomography (CT) scanning, predominately in the medical imaging field, but also in other fields like (airport) security scanning, backscatter security scanning and nondestructive testing (NDT) for battery cells in the e-mobility space.
This was a great event, having the opportunity to share our technology with Leaders, and generate a lot of energy among our team!

Oftentimes, precious minutes or even hours elapse before a patient can be diagnosed. Besides long distances and long travel times, also areas with inadequate infrastructure present a great challenge to healthcare provision. Our vision is to create easy and fast access to a neccessary Head-CT for people all over the world.
Imagine a system that enables you to conduct a full body scan with a single examination, and provides you with an overview of potentially pathological changes so that you can undergo necessary treatments accordingly, without losing any time. The examination itself is very easy: the patient lies down in a cabin that is pleasently spacious and receives a complete check-up by the scan-hardware gliding softly above them.
Naturally complemented by futher dennec-advantages such as optimal radiation dose management, fast scanning-time and highly precise imaging.
